I usually don't use it, but if I have to wake up at specific time, would set 4-5 alarms at random times within 20 minutes of the planned wake up times. My psychologist friend told me not to use same set periods (like each 5 minutes) but rather use random numbers - apparently it works better. So If I have to wake up at 6AM I would set alarms approximately as following: 5:59 6:02 6:06 6:09 6:14

Funny fact: I should wake up a 6:50 to be in time. 1th alarm is 5:40, 2nd 6:10, 3rd 7:00. But I wake up everyday before any of this alarms ring πŸ˜‚
