Meme tokens on Pump.fun seemed like a good benchmark, given their recent popularity. While it’s an apples-to-oranges comparison, the idea was to make it easy to grasp for people who haven’t yet started exploring Moxie, especially those on X. The results? A stark contrast. Fan Tokens show consistent growth, while most Pump.fun meme coins ended up negative. Even among the 0.1 percent of Pump.fun tokens that made it to CoinGecko, only 35 percent delivered positive returns. Another analysis revealed that only one-third of Pump.fun traders were profitable, further highlighting the risks of speculation in the meme token space.
