do you mean it’s okay to feel everything without expectations of changing one’s behavior, or the opposite?

no judgement on either, I think feeling the feelings seems to be the most important thing different feeling routes unfold if you have expectations, but ultimately lead to insight maybe what do you think?

agree and in my work with others (and myself) it is quite wily to catch that moment when the fear kicks in and converts the move of feeling the feelings to intellectualizing said feelings lately one move I’ve added to the repertoire is to explicitly pretend that the worst expected outcome has already come to fruition..THEN feel the feelings (so that the fear is a conscious one, deliberately, rather than than subconscious) what do you think? πŸ€”
