Star power in this final was really special It’s a new era with young stars who have already won majors and they faced off in a final today for the first time New generation getting more interested in tennis

I’d say that sports tam overall is increasing Just look at the growth of the major professional leagues over the last couple decades plus individual sports getting more popular to casual fans (golf, tennis, ufc, f1 if you consider the driver an individual even though it’s a team) Globalization and technology have significantly increased sports tam

over the past 20 years it has grown for sure but past 5 years it's not quite obvious to me that the tam is growing vs these new sports you mentioned cannibalizing the big team ball sports don't recall well but remember hearing about nba having hit growth plateau or something

NBA has hit some level of growth plateau bc their growth was so explosive and vertical for the last decade since they’ve really become much more global Now they’re focused on trying to create a NBA Europe league bc they’ve basically grown all they can with the current league I think we’ll eventually get 2 expansion teams in the NBA, definitely Vegas and maybe Seattle? But that’s probably 5 years away still
