hot take normalize being an asshole for the sake of somebody's future common examples: 1.) in shape friends telling out of shape friend to work out 2.) friends who are dating/married telling single friend to ask someone out obviously the person has to put the work in but the above makes it way easier to get started on the giving side, it can feel very uncomfortable doing this, but the receiving side will greatly appreciate it later

some people might prefer to be alone then with someone else but overall i totally agree with the point. If i'm not there to boost my loved ones' motivation then what else for I exist?
