normalize being an asshole for the sake of somebody's future

common examples:

1.) in shape friends telling out of shape friend to work out

2.) friends who are dating/married telling single friend to ask someone out

obviously the person has to put the work in but the above makes it way easier to get started

on the giving side, it can feel very uncomfortable doing this, but the receiving side will greatly appreciate it later

don't take my casts super seriously please (most of them at least)

Being honest is not being an asshole, that’s being a real friend 

The issue lies in the reality that most people nowadays get triggered and defensive for the smallest things

You might have genuinely good intentions, but if you verbalise them as “get some exercise, fat boy” the outcome may not be great… 
(but that also kinda depends on whom are you talking to)

Well, you're an asshole if you just 'tell' them to do it; if you suggest it skillfully, then it's the opposite of that...

Sometimes being a good friend means knowing when they need a good sack tap

some people might prefer to be alone then with someone else but overall i totally agree with the point. If i'm not there to boost my loved ones' motivation then what else for I exist?
