i've seen pay to message before too a couple places i think debank has one called hello or something generic,  but i don't know about security deposit style refunds or how it works cuz i never used it. i need to look at xmtp too they're doing something encrypted messaging related i think

i think pay to message would be good (with the option for you to return the funds like a safety deposit, and an allow list like your contacts that bypasses that)

the platform is growing technologically and I'm happy about it, but the number of downloads and DAU of the platform is not growing, this is frustrating

Farcaster DMs are mostly a spam vector than a legit means of communication with those I care about 

Actual influencers (not me) are encouraging use of that messaging platform 

All I am saying is I’m not the one
