This couple spent 20 years trying to get pregnant, with the wife undergoing 15 unsuccessful IVF cycles in 20 years. Reading between the lines, it means anywhere from $250k - $500k spent on fertility (estimating cost of 15 cycles) !!!! It was so hard because the husband didn’t have detectable sperm in his ejaculate, a condition called azoospermia. A new AI algorithm finds the few sperm and separates them so they can be used for IVF https://time.com/7291154/doctors-report-first-pregnancy-new-ai-procedure/

This must have been traumatizing as hell! I am glad new tech like this comes out of the AI sector to actually help people 💞! We have friends who have tried for years and years cause they really wanted kids. I wish they would have had access to this.

AI procedure creates a child!!? It should be a crime not to name that kid John Connor.

A couple who really wanted to have a child will do anything to have one. It's sad but worth the try
