Always been weird that those who are most for exploiting workers wouldn't be more in favor of workers you can exploit as you wish since there's the threat of deportation to dangle over them.

I think that's wise. There's a lot of missed nuance in tweet-sized debates, and so often people don't rely on actual data (or misrepresent data in a way not obvious to a casual reader) to draw their conclusions and the whole thing becomes a massive waste of everyone's time.

I think it’s mostly divisive natures blathering from all sides where people just write and write about stuff to support their preconceived notions and argue online

We need more IRL discussions where people can communicate and experience each other face to face. At least, I think I need it. 

This is why I meet to avoid and abandon text based social media debates.  Can’t learn anything and definitely can’t understand the other person.

The whole post reads like a massive overanalysis. Unemployment is at historic lows, hardly anyone is *actually* experiencing a lack of meaningful work in any field due to foreign labor. It's all vibes and pre-conceived views on immigrants, not principled or based in reality.
