Day 3 on Farcaster thoughts: (As a Twitter addict who last used Farcaster a year ago) • Discoverability here seems really good at the moment. I've managed to reach a bunch of new people very quickly. Hard to tell how much of it is due to people knowing me from Twitter though • Engagement on Farcaster feels much more real and wholesome. People seem to engage for the purpose of engaging, and they are more willing to do so, whereas on Twitter people engage often to raise their own profile or farm something • The entire experience has changed A LOT over the last year, for the better. Mini apps were confusing, linking wallets was a pain. Now it's all seamlessly integrated and I really like it. It's giving me fomo, making me want to keep playing around to make sure I don't miss anything • The culture of tipping is interesting. Personally I don't really get it, and I don't think it's sustainable, but I'm happy to be a part of it • Rewards leaderboard is making me competitive

I’ve done the degen tipping when it started. Experimenting with the automatic tipping. Usually I like replies to my casts as a read receipt. That will have to change.

Also experimenting with automated tipping for the first time today, but I’m not prepared to change my liking / commenting habits (like you, I typically like liberally including to mean I’ve read your cast). I think I’ll switch off automated tipping before I change the way I interact with others. I don’t want money to start getting in the way (as either an incentive or an inhibitor)
