Day 3 on Farcaster thoughts: (As a Twitter addict who last used Farcaster a year ago) • Discoverability here seems really good at the moment. I've managed to reach a bunch of new people very quickly. Hard to tell how much of it is due to people knowing me from Twitter though • Engagement on Farcaster feels much more real and wholesome. People seem to engage for the purpose of engaging, and they are more willing to do so, whereas on Twitter people engage often to raise their own profile or farm something • The entire experience has changed A LOT over the last year, for the better. Mini apps were confusing, linking wallets was a pain. Now it's all seamlessly integrated and I really like it. It's giving me fomo, making me want to keep playing around to make sure I don't miss anything • The culture of tipping is interesting. Personally I don't really get it, and I don't think it's sustainable, but I'm happy to be a part of it • Rewards leaderboard is making me competitive

I can only say that ordinary people will really regret in the future why they didn't get to know FC sooner. Everything is very different here. The only thing I've come across a lot during this time is the kindness and help people give to each other.

I’ve done the degen tipping when it started. Experimenting with the automatic tipping. Usually I like replies to my casts as a read receipt. That will have to change.

well, i agree with your first point... because i've made such amazing friends here out of nowhere 😅 and yes, engagement here is a different ballgame. your contents are just you being yourself and every engagement goes to show how people appreciate the real you... at least it feels that way 💁🏽‍♂️

Tipping indirectly rewards great content platform-wide but also in your own comment section E.g. if you tip (engage with) people that interact with your content they are more likely to come back It's just another incentive besides great content

Discoverability has improved tremendously for people that come back after a hiatus. This is helping your engagement. Engagement here is definitely more real/wholesome, beacuse there are no kaito yaps ;-) And I think we completely miss a lot of the scams (it happens, but it is much rarer). Mini apps and an integrated wallet - super good - makes Farcaster a super app, for real! Tipping is fun - noice this week is big, but don't forget tipn from before which is still active I almost never bother with the rewards leaderboard, but since it works for you to bring out your competitiveness, LFG!
