Heard people skipping it in favour for Blockchain Berlin because Cannes is associated with rich people

we heard they are in cannes to reduce side events by pricing people out
so we've heard a lot more about prague and berlin
we are thinking about berlin just want to make sure travel is valuable yknow

interesting idea to reduce side events. I found the decentralized nature of eth conferences interesting. I don't think the number of side events is an issue but the lack of coordination between side events. Having similar themed side events at the same time is just dumb.

They chose it as they got good deals for the venue and Cannes is aiming to be a web3 hub validated by the Mairie of Cannes. Think it's worth attending to see how it's received and I know the project that's been driving this adoption for Cannes.

I will definitely go but I do wonder where people will stay as it's pricey to stay there..

I think this needs to be communicated far more on social media. The image I assume people are having of Cannes and Berlin are completely different. If I think of alternative systems, cyberpunk Berlin would fit the bill better than Cannes.

Been catching up since our travels with DGRS and Lions.. Hopeful things will improve but will probably be worse before better..

tired, because of carnival I didn't have a proper restful weekend since first week of Feb. And I'm not even going out. drunken teens, too many sleepovers of people who can't catch a bus back home, too loud music 10m from my house.

excited, because of the user research we're doing. There's an opportunity to make Telegram suck less. It's overwhelming for everyone. Let's change that.

also started a little side project on ai and story telling. so that helps with motivation (but not with sleep).

I would have pegged SF, any West coast city vs NY for crypto but NY has been the hub.. One never knows esp in this industry..
