I used AI to grade the last 4 assignments after coming across one too many too LLMesque sentence. Now we got AI writing papers and AI grading them. What a bullshit system. The hard part is that I'm not up for playing whack a mole. Assignments need to change to take into account that students will use AI, but they still have to learn something (that's an assumption). Currently trying to formulate feedback in a way that students keep thinking about their work. Maybe we should just require transcripts of GPT-chats and grade the prompts?

We did some summer course tasks that cannot be done with GPT that require actual thinking 😅 I had an assignment that asked for a lot of personal reflection and to watch an episode of Finnish TV show, and then adapt the characters to the task. No GPT could do that.

Maybe that would be the assignment: How would you prompt your AI to create outcome 'X'? And also: 'What are the things the AI produces you should pay attention to and verify?"
