Need to get a decent bike for my wife - she won’t ride it a TON… mostly on gravel, but we’ll peel off some dirt paths from time to time… I don’t want to get something too cheap that she never wants to ride, but also not looking to spend too much. Share me some gravel bikes you dig 🤲

When I think about gravel, I think of Surly: https://surlybikes.com/ they make some solid bicycles. For my gravel bike, I did an Uno Outcast https://www.bikesdirect.com/products/motobecane/uno-outcast.htm I saved money on the bicycle and tricked it out on accessories. I recommend going to an LBS & just start trying!

Tricky without more info and may need refinement, but big brand entry level gravel bikes like Cannondale topstone 4 or Specialized Diverge E5 sound like possible solid bets here https://www.specialized.com/us/en/diverge-e5/p/199973?color=322113-199973&searchText=95422-7254&gad_source=1

https://www.liv-cycling.com/us/bikes/cross-and-gravel-bikes Would typically recommend Giant as an affordable brand with good entry level options. When I went to their website to check for women’s bikes, looks like Liv is where they direct you. Good specs at the entry level and reasonable price points.

State also has some similar options that can be configured with 650b wheels and larger tires for rougher terrain https://www.statebicycle.com/collections/6061-all-road/products/6061-black-label-all-road-copper-brown-650b-700c

The Canyon Grizl is a pretty solid bike and a great value. Here is a link to the non-carbon version as it sounds like carbon may be overkill. https://www.canyon.com/en-us/gravel-bikes/adventure/grizl/al/

Fairlight Secan: https://www.cyclingnews.com/reviews/fairlight-secan-review/ I have one and it rides very well both on and off road. Great value, versatile, and well-reviewed. Not to mention those paint schemes.
