I find myself in this weird situation where many of the people who like my theses around building, intentionality, and tech are socialists and don't realize that I am, in fact, not a socialist

I suspect many socialists understand you are not a socialist. Perhaps many of their goals simply map on to yours? I feel like many populists on varying sides of political divides are in the process of realizing they have more common ground than they thought
