Github always strikes me as a name chosen in ignorance of its meaning. Surely that's just a place where gits hang out?

My parents (born during WW2, so slightly too old to be boomers) became much wealthier than any of their ancestors. Owned a house on one incoming salary. I was born late 60s, so slightly too young to be a boomer. I never had their luxury, but could own a house as a married man with two incomes. I'm still hugely fortunate. All my ancestors before my parents were dirt poor peasants. None of this was any of our doing. It's all pure chance of when (and where) we were born.

Confession time... I haven't yet found a single mini app that I use enough to bother installing. I could, of course, just be a curmudgeonly, miserable, old git.
