AFAIK 0.0001 ETH as a denomination has no name how would you feel about the name a *dot*? think we need something simple, short, approachable. https://www.weponder.io/surveys/1462

Agree with simple, short, approachable, but not sure about "dot." How would you parse "the fee is 7.77 dot ETH?"

that denomination is meaningful now because price is 4 digits on left side, won't this become less meaningful as price increases? stick with metric

I think dot is bad bc that’s already used in lexicon. Need something else to delineate or it causes confusion

I would call it a "pip" which traders already know/use. A pip is 1/100th of 1% of a unit, or 0.0001

ISO or GTFO 🧐 0.001 is either mETH or PWEI. Coming up with a unit that represents a tenth of that makes no sense. 0.000001 can be uETH or TWEI.

Agree with this, since Twei will be a familiar and common denom due to gas prices at $10k https://warpcast.com/tomato.eth/0x498cbc63

but why? whats so special about 0.0001 ETH Why not just use SI formatting - 0.001 ETH = 1 mETH

What are we debating about? If we can simply call "dot" the 0.0001 eth? 😁

0.0001 ETH is 100 milli-Gwei (100 mGwei) We could call it “mini gwei” or just a “mini”

would be fun indeed to have the equivalent of a bp (basis point in tradfi) in crypto, how about a "milleth" (m from the word "milli" meaning thousandth, and "eth" for Ethereum).
