live down the block from family but in the suburbs or 40 mins away but closer to where you can see humans and do things within walking distance

idk why i have a deep distaste for the utopian suburbia of the us of a. would love to be convinced to take the plunge

I'm at the end of a week in suburbia this week

Though my heart is enriched seeing my extended family interact with my son, my soul has taken a big hit

Thankfully we're back to the city in a few days

Dc is a special case though due to the height restrictions. Kind of an ideal limitation on density. All the pros of a city without the overload of a place like NY. To be fair tho, dc suburbs are decent (unless we talking about NoVA 😂)
