My take after thinking on "Merkle doesn't listen to its users" is that if you put the work into your request, they will help you. Same thing for Base. When we have asked for something, the team has helped/documented/prioritized that thing. Can't think of anything they haven't done for us or outright ignored.

i agree with this but to be clear this isn’t my issue, my issue is “merkle doesn’t track user requests or triage bugs in any structured way whatsoever”

Hey, appreciate the feedback. We can definitely do better. FYI, I filed tickets for issues you reported, as well as long term fixes here. You can follow our public backlog here https://github.com/orgs/farcasterxyz/projects/2/views/1?filterQuery=-status%3ADone. Finally, this PR should fix the cases you brought up: https://github.com/farcasterxyz/snapchain/pull/580 We'll also look into how to make reporting issues and providing feedback on our progress and priorities better.

Yeah it wasn’t just your cast — saw a few other folks. And that could simply be their culture. In my experience internal teams are responsible for their own docs and planning.

have you seen postgresql development? used everywhere, giving mysql a run for its money, and there is still no bug tracker. it is just what you see on the mailing list. for merkle, it just may be what you see here on farcaster :) and i think its ok!
