it’s not addictive because it’s that engaging it’s just such an easy default for your attention when your attention is not otherwise occupied

Couldn’t agree more. I can’t get anything productive done on a phone or a tablet. 

I always see people working on iPads and I’m like, there is no way they are getting anything done.
