here's a question:
how many farcasters do you follow who are no longer active but might become active again if an upcoming token started gaining mindshare on X?
new first-time users would be great of course but even just re-activating a bunch of the great people who churned would be a big win relative to the status q...
Re: Farcaster token, there is a risk/reward of course. But what do we have to lose? Not nothing, and having nothing to lose isn’t reason enough to do it. But it is worth acknowledging that the network has substantially less to lose than it did 1 year ago, at least, I would argue.

As hard as it is to get these things right, I do think Farcaster is in a better position to figure it out than Base. It’s a much more contained ecosystem. Everyone has a profile. Neynar score. Mini apps. Farcaster Wallet activity etc. A good number of people have used Farcaster for years. Still not easy, but easier.

I lean yes here btw.
It’s probably the most obvious high upside move available for Farcaster, just mostly disregarded because the answer for a long time was default no, but the circumstances have changed.
How best exactly to do it is much less obvious, but I am generally in favor.

105 contributors to the lead bid right now for auction #365 @qrcoindotfun
$1,000 / 105 = $9.52
That’s how much each contributor would receive in $QR if the auction were to end now.
Most of them contributed just $1 and would make a quick $8 profit.
Nice.
