wow. Rips really tried to "Rip" off Kondo. it's like an exact copy, only worse. you can only swap to USDC, you can only swap 10 at a time, etc. but i should give them a little bit of credit where credit is due, for showing some originality... they did change the word "tokens" to "coins"

Maybe we'll see more of this with "vibe coding" or using AI to help code. I can see someone doing not real raw coding but getting assist (which I do daily for my own scripts) to tell it "here's a mockup, I'd like this added, tweak this, add this functionality" and then the end result is a lot of things look and act the same.

Does Kondo have an SDK? For an app like Rips, Warpslot, etc, Kondo seems like a perfect fit. You’re basically willingly loading your wallet with dust. I’m not surprised they added this. There might be collaborative opportunities in the future where both parties can win rather than getting cloned. FWIW @joeblau also made a dust collector app that literally launched like a day before Kondo (might have even been same day) but yours dominated.

I mean it's gonna become a pretty common feature for any app that interacts/gives out multiple tokens, but requires a certain token It is pretty on the nose, but maybe this is just the right UI? like every swap model ever looks the same 😂

Thanks for the shout out, Jake! 🙏 We love what you’re building with Kondo, but for us, this feels more like a feature inside Rips rather than a core product focus. It just makes sense for users to batch swap directly in-app… If you ever open up an API for Kondo, definitely let us know!

Honestly, I don’t see the problem here, their mini app is distributing a lot of small token drops, so it makes sense. Instead of going through Kondo, you can just swap directly on their app. And as far as I know, Kondo didn’t invent batch swapping That said, I’ll give you that the interface looks way too similar, they didn’t even bother adding their own touch 😂

I hear you, but like, maybe there’s something to this…? They might have gotten feedback or noticed that they have a lot of users/addresses batching after opening & closing the miniapp, so they baked it in to reduce touch points & used a “well known model” to make it a more seamless experience.
