today's adventure streak is brought to you by hokkaido, japan. on our latest trip i learned how to 'yukita' board - snowboarding but without bindings, so it's actually far closer to surfing. they're banned from resorts so you can only do it back country, which means - climb baby, climb. snow was over my knees on this day, but small price to pay for fresh japow!

That’s some crazy deep snow. We get snow that deep here, but I don’t try to go out in it and tread through.
