my thoughts on making degen lock up better

1. get a degen allowance based on your % of staked degen in the pool 
2. 50% of your degen allowance can be tipped, other 50% is claimable by the staker next airdrop
3. if you don't tip your allowance you can't claim your airdrop (if you tip 10% you can claim 10%)

Yes. It’s a good start to begin thinking way. Increasing the value of $DEGEN, decreasing the spaminess of tips, aligning the right participants 

Degens will come - they only need one thing- price go up or free muni

1 and 2 are fine , 3 might be too much as it does force people to connect and use it all which might add some level of stress to them!

This should be a fun place to be in where we can discover, collaborate and help each other..

50% is probably too much. One of the great innovations of the "tipping economy" is that you give it to others, you don't keep it. A better incentive would be 5% like it's now with /superrare $RARE tipping for example.

Totally agree with him! Hope you can apply it to season 6.

❓ Is vault another product innovation after launching L3? As a community project, the development roadmap for /degen may not be necessary, but i didnt find any major tipping related feature upgrades apart from <RainDrops>.

@jacek did a excellent job for creating tipping incentive layers to link up  /farcaster content creators,  I share the belief that there may a greater potential in developing tipping/content incentive related features rather than solely focusing on tokenomics、infras or eco-grants.

As it stands now, I want to make sure I’m framing this correctly. 

MI think many people don’t realize that this new season is about buy in. Your allowance will decrease daily as new people buy in. You can’t increase your rank with sweat equity anymore. The OpenRank bonus is TINY. Every time a new person adds more money to the staking pool allowances will go down and unless you keep adding money every day, this is going to be a really terrible reality for most people and I think very few people are considering this.

Great idea  @robrecht 

My only concern is, by 50% of tips not being put into circulation we will put at great disadvantage accounts with small allowance. They are mainly relying on receiving degen from accounts with bigger allowances and 50% reduction of it will have bad consequences.

I would add 40% of the allowance being weighted with openrank to ensure the incentives are still aligned with content creators and builders what do you think @robrecht ?
