I simultaneously appreciate and struggle with FC’s willingness to churn existing users in pursuit of top line growth The rationalist in me knows that being sub-scale is the worst outcome (neither 0 nor 1 in a boolean experiment) But the romantic in me senses that this is a community project, not a platform

Most people don’t care about decentralisation though, most my friends don’t even know what that means.

Very true -- decentralization may have been a hook for the earliest / ideological users, but that TAM is small Point being: if you came for "decentralization", you may not stay for "money games" Money games has a much bigger TAM though, so it makes sense from a rational company building approach to pivot
