crypto: we care about privacy and e2ee so we prefer to use telegram also crypto: we will take screenshots of your telegram messages and post them all over web2 social media *not all of crypto, and definitely not much of farcaster

I still find the preference for Telegram over Signal a bit odd. I know it's shinier, but Signal is arguably more private and secure.

agree i think itās just an inertia thing - and signal didnāt have handles until recently t.me/jdille is way more aesthetic than the signal link and also easy to remember can you say more about why signal is more private & secure in your opinion?

Signal is e2ee by default which Telegram is not. The tradeoff is that it's easier to use Telegram on multiple devices while Signal is a bit of a pain for that.
