think i’m out; deleting, canceling flights, killing game of last 3 years, etc. health is deteriorating & im feeling worse about myself every day. apologize if my communication here has made anyone upset; was never my intention. this is why i’ve been on CT for a decade but have remained silent. i don’t communicate well, don’t appreciate zero-sum dunk culture, and don’t care about being right. if you knew me irl, you’d know i put anyone & anything ahead of me. always have, which is probably why ill never do well here. im only interested if in what’s best for the whole; i dont even value my own life. i assure you, it’s only ever been out of love. that said, need to figure out what’s next for me. maybe someone will hire me; maybe i’ll be back in a few weeks; maybe i’ll just fade away. either way, thanks for giving me a place to yap somewhat comfortably for the first time in my life; hopefully some of it was useful, if not entertaining ❤️✌️

Just started bumping into your intelligent brain on here recently, so I'm bummed to see you feeling so similarly to me. I wrote this post in my mind many times in the last few months. Whatever you have to do for your personal health is key, my friend. It truly is a struggle to keep in the game when we don't want to play it in the first place. Turning off the noise and just focusing on the signal is almost impossible in this ecosystem, because the noise is so loud and well funded. The signal is deeply buried, but strangely we only have to pull back and disconnect from the noise to see it. Leaving X was the start for me. Just let it all go. The noise on Farcaster is just as loud, but the sub-cultures here are still more authentic. That's what is giving me hope. After years of looking, I am slowly finding my tribe. You're part of it, but you only ever have to participate at your pace. Take some time away! Restore yourself. Find out what matters most, and see if it brings you back in some new way.
