Depends on the plant! You could be overwatering, underwatering and this also depends on whether they are getting the right amount of sunlight to necessitate needing more water. The window they are by and the kind of sunlight your plants are getting also might need to be changed! Or it could be that your plants are getting root bound and need to be replanted into a bigger pot.

I actually am a very low maintenance plant mom! No fertilizer, no filtered or distilled water. I am very picky and careful about my soil being sanitized/free of bugs and have a dedicated quarantine zone for any new plants that may have nasties I donāt want spreading elsewhere. And even for bug control at most Iāll use mosquito bits soaked in water or neem oil for maintenance but I havenāt had to use either in a long time! I just always assume the soil that comes with a plant can contain even human nasties like styrophome that make it hard for the plant to grow. If youāve had them for a year and they are wilting it might be that they need to be repotted and the roots have grown too much

Itās grown so much with you! Itās a good sign, ur doing great!! š Most soil you buy from the store already comes pre infested. What you want to look for is sealed indoor potting soil that is āsterilizedā or āpasteurizedā or āgnat freeā You can also sterilize soil yourself in small batches using the microwave or oven! I usually do this all in one go so I can rotate my pots instead of having to buy so many pots! I think of it like hermit crab shells haha

So i just sterilize my own soil but there are a bunch of brands you can just order from on Amazon! Rosy soil is a common one that has a lot of reviews. Thereās also all sorts of different types of soil and I think they do a good job of differentiating types so itās easier for users to not have to do as much research! You basically really want the soil to be completely enclosed because even if soil is clean before it gets to a store, if the bag is not sealed all the way, once its exposed to the natrual elements even in a store shelf it will naturally attract bugs to the soil. You can also consider dried pucks of soil that you add water to. This is the like MOST safe way to avoid bugs but then its up to you to buy nutrients and extra things you care about so Iād recommend sterilizing yourself or buying pre sterilized soil online š
