Took me time, but I came around to In-N-Out fries. “Light well” hits the sweet spot. Since there’s no blanching, the texture can vary—some months they’re crisp, others starchy and cardboard-like.

I don't know about In-N-Out, but I like the thin, slightly burnt, and crunchy potatoes mixed with McDonald's potatoes. It felt special since I was a child, and when I was in it, I was happy as if I had found a treasure🤣
