People are overreacting to Coinbase sponsoring the U.S. Military Military/defense spending is a bipartisan issue And the engagement it’s gotten on social media has probably made it worth the investment given that it feels like it easily could’ve gone unnoticed

Kind of frustrating being told for last 5 years I dont belong in Crypto because of my ideology, and then see the company who's using the marketing slogan "base is for everyone " to endorse a parade for the institution that's not fought a just war since the 40s and has played a major hand in destablizing regions on every single conflict. Not to mention the fact that American troops are being deployed to American cities for reasons lmfao Its bad optics and id hate it regardless of who the president was

Hits different when troops deployed against citizens. Since when is military sponsored like a sports team? Who are they fighting for? Makes it seem like coinbase is buying mercenaries. “Defense spending” is when the government does it.
