People are overreacting to Coinbase sponsoring the U.S. Military 

Military/defense spending is a bipartisan issue 

And the engagement it’s gotten on social media has probably made it worth the investment given that it feels like it easily could’ve gone unnoticed

If I were a US citizen, I would want this parade to be remembered for something good, not that a great country like US needed outside sponsors for the parade

Usually the parade is memorable because of the amazing military vehicles, aviation, but not Coinbase in any way 😵‍💫

To anyone who actually cares about a U.S. military parade, I doubt that Coinbase is what they’ll remember 

This parade is performative 

Lastly, this is America so if there’s an opportunity to make a buck then people are going to take it
