Cafe Galazio 🍋

Decided to make a cafe themed brunch today :)

The entree was quail egg shakshouka with basil from the garden and chicken sausages. 

I also served a little tray of baked goods with my homemade bread. The biscuits were from my favorite farmers market. I also made strawberry plum compote to have with the biscuits 🍓

Ahh! Smart… and I’ll bet you scraped the sides back into the sauce to continue building the flavor over that time. Color is just beautiful.

Clever! I never saw it with quail eggs, but that sounds like fun. *Love* chicken sausage too. That’s a serious tomato color you achieved. Nice job!
