Content coins will work if you get people to post them with sufficient quantity and frequency. Until then, there will be a lot of push back. But the only way through is posting more. Swap "being cool" with "established coin norms" and "being cringe" with "creating more coins".

zero-sum games will always be cringe, no matter how many times you play them

If buying a single unit costs me $0.10, a large portion goes to the creator and I don't ever plan to sell because I'm happy with the memento, then it's not zero sum. Not saying that's the reality on the ground today, but it's possible that people shift their point of view.

im curious too about what the take rates are for existing platforms where art/content can be distributed as it stands today it makes me want fc to win for a couple reasons 1. if someone created a public good custom nft/token tool - theoretically the creator could receive 99% of the value 2. fc being agnostic to which creator tools ppl use is the biggest factor, if fc doesn’t charge on economic activity here (or keeps it to less than 1%), i can see how creators can launch on any platform and distribute here, versus the main distribution source being elsewhere fc staying neutral is important, i think the market will figure itself out w time

Depends of the platform of course, but there are platforms that will pass 100% of the fees back to the creator by default. *cough* @flaunch
