Some people believe Big Pharma suppresses cancer cures for profit. Truth is that if there was a cure for cancer, insurers (the ones footing the bill) would push it so hard and fast to reduce the billions they pay annually for cancer care. What do you think is holding us back?

I believe I saw the claim that, within a decade, solid mass tumors as a class of disease would be treatable via immunotherapy. PCR technology is making it possible to create bespoke genetic scripting that targets only the neoplasm. When it gets here, it will change the game. I believe melanoma and a few other common ones are already being treated this way to great effect and it gives me so much hope. We could still understand the metabolism better. We could do more to prevent cancer. We have a long ways to go to understand what makes a human body healthy.

A lot of things sir; 1. Cancer is a really complex disease to treat, what works for A has a 90% chance on not working for B, dealing with genetics is always difficult, because the slightest change will cause a whole new problem entirely.
