Hey everyone, just joined Farcaster and wanted to introduce myself. I'm Eric, I've been in crypto for 10 years and now working on a cure for stage IV cancer. A little more about me: - Ran Austin Ethereum Meetup from 2016-2018, - Contributed to a number of early L2 Ethereum projects, - Early member of Nouns DAO and built Nouns AI, - Built and sold a crypto on/offramp (now DiviSwap)., I'm currently working on Meridian Radiopharmaceuticals, which is developing the first cure for stage IV breast, lung, and prostate cancer (as well as osteosarcoma in children). When I'm not working, I enjoy powerlifting and reading the Great Books of the Western World to my daughter.
If I've learned anything from this conference it's: People who work within the system are never going to be able help people for whom the system has failed them.
Hot take - AI drug discovery will yield little to no benefit. We don't understand drug discovery well enough to train a model on it. Garbage in, garbage out.
Passive income is a parasitic idea. I don't have to do anything and I get paid? Great! That's my dream! No hate on passive income, but if this is all you think about, you're a parasite.
