I mean, it’s happened 10s of thousands or, arguably, 100s of thousands of times (based on data on how many DAOs there are). But still agree the idea comes up much more often than it’s executed on!

Probably for the best, my group did in 2021, it grew to 50+ people, we had a bunch of committees and a charter, then it fizzled out and we still haven't managed to liquidate/shut it down to this day. 🤪

I think the problem is twofold: 1. The token/DAO doesn't have clear value proposition and is super vague. 2. Well designed, streamlined DAO tooling just isn't there yet, and the lack thereof creates too much friction for most.
