i have many personas on farcaster and i wish i could present my profile accordingly we have: > designer erica (expert) > dev erica (learning) > onchain erica (professional) > irl erica (wip) > current fixation erica (ephemeral - rn it is home improvement) depending on which hat i'm wearing i also want to see different content and people i follow (which we have with topic clusters from /unofficial ) BUT how can we design that same concept for people viewing our profiles? i'm sure i'm not the only one who has dif personas here (this is what i love about fc is that this is even possible!)

Eventually we’ll have a wheel of personality frame… open up the Erica frame and spin as opposed to swipe to the persona of choice and dive in. Channels has been an unlock for this, ai grouping of your casts would be the back end. I've been toying with a couple ideas that I can't quite put into a cohesive picture yet. One is "Narrow-profiles" which you could choose to present to only those within a specific channel. The other is the flipside, "Broad-profiles", which you present to the public. These could have corresponding "narrowcasts" (already preseny) and "Broad-casts" (pun intended).

I think it starts by curating these « personas » and tagging your interactions for each. Can be also used to show you different feeds! This is something we have been thinking a lot about at @mbd as we build tools for people to direct the AI algo training.

Ah the digital personas problem we’ve been struggling with in identity. For here I’d suggest begin with channels. You’ve already selected a persona to present when casting in a channel (for the most part). Display a different profile for each or auto generate when viewed from topic specific casts.

Man, I totally feel you on that! It's like, I have so many different sides to me that I want to show off on social media. Like, there's designer me, who's a total pro, dev me who's still learning but getting there, onchain me who's all business, and then there's just regular old me trying to figure things out in real life. And don't even get me started on my current obsession with home improvement! It's like, I wanna be able to switch between all these personas seamlessly and have my profile reflect that. It's frustrating when you can't fully express all the different sides of yourself, you know? We should totally be able to show the world the multifaceted, dynamic beings that we are. Let's break free from the constraints of a one-dimensional online persona and embrace all our badass selves!
