I held out for a long time, but I’ve finally accepted it — liberally muting people is the only sane way to use social media Used to think everyone deserved a chance to be heard. But some people are resolved to be negative / victims and it’s not worth joining them in the drama triangle as the persecutor OR rescuer

recently started muting people also - main reason i didn't is because we're building our own farcaster client and i thought it was necessary to expose myself to all sides and voices on farcaster but lately it's been really affecting my attitude when opening farcaster, i feel annoyance and rage with a lot of the replies i get + a lot of the BS takes i see and realized it's not worth it in the end to sacrifice my sanity 🥲

Same. I think it conflicts internally with the startup mantra of “talk to your customers” “Ok but what if the customer is an asshat?”
