anyone watching 3 Body Problem on Netflix? just found out it's a novel and am going to stop watching the series and read the book first. i feel like there's so much about Chinese history i don't know enough about and the translation offers that perspective in the footnotes.

The series is very westernized and quite simplified from the book, which is quite understandable being a netflix series aimed at a general audience. If you like reading semi-hard sci-fi, you're going to enjoy the book a lot. Cixin Liu is a very good writer, beyond genres.

im starting to watch it now! have finished the books though, so i know whats coming. (note that theres 3 books in the series!) the netflix series (at least till where im at) is pretty good too, but obviously rushed through quite a bit to fit.

I watched the entire season and it was great. However, the original book is far better (maybe a rough start)

I read the first book a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Have just finished watching The Gentlemen on netflix so this is next on my list to watch. Looking forward to it I'm hearing good things!

i’m in the last two episodes. There’s so much hidden messages in the series. In the book there must be a lot more. I did the know there was a book. Thanks for sharing.
