anyone watching 3 Body Problem on Netflix? just found out it's a novel and am going to stop watching the series and read the book first. i feel like there's so much about Chinese history i don't know enough about and the translation offers that perspective in the footnotes.

im starting to watch it now! have finished the books though, so i know whats coming. (note that theres 3 books in the series!)

the netflix series (at least till where im at) is pretty good too, but obviously rushed through quite a bit to fit.

yeah; i thought that might be the case. it felt that way which is why i checked to see if it was based on a book. and i'm glad i did. i stopped watching it and will read the books first.
