Mark's a good guy, but this is not how I would frame things. I don't give a flying you-know-what about what gives degen gamblers "hope." I want government to stop trampling on my natural rights to transact privately, free from force & fraud.

Even in context, I think it's inane to defend 'cryptocurrency' on 'lottery ticket' grounds. It's wrong on every level. The vast majority of crypto marketcap is in BTC & ETH. Everything else is a nothingburger. Ppl can also gamble in penny stocks, yet we know total market index investing isn't a lottery ticket.
