I hate Tucker Carlson. I don’t trust him or his intentions. That said he influences people I never could and I’m happy seeing this https://www.thedailybeast.com/ted-cruz-absolutely-explodes-in-maga-civil-war-gotcha-moment/

It's a good gotcha but I know more about Iran than Tucker Carlson and that doesn't make my opinion of the situation any more or less relevant than his. Ted Cruz has at best minor influence (assuming there's a congressional vote related to a war).

His influence is not just the vote. He is one of the highest ranking senators.

He’s not in leadership and well-known his colleagues don’t like him.

Influence ≠taken out for beers by other senators. He has been safely winning a seat in a huge state. He's powerful. He has massive influence. Your comparison with yourself doesn't make sense. (I can agree that Carlson might have even more influence despite not being a senator)

OK, agree to disagree. I don't think anyone in the White House cares what Ted Cruz thinks on the issue.

I meant it more implicit. Ted Cruz has his people that he influences - media, base, etc, that end up influencing white house. You still prob disagree, just clarifying what I meant.
