For sure this is a gotcha. It’s optics. But it’s nice seeing any kind of anti war shift and I think it’s effective. Maybe only a little but I’ll take anything

It's a good gotcha but I know more about Iran than Tucker Carlson and that doesn't make my opinion of the situation any more or less relevant than his. 

Ted Cruz has at best minor influence (assuming there's a congressional vote related to a war).

The level of deep shit we’re in changed my mind. I worry about these guys coming out on top. The immigration rhetoric in particular is almost impossible for me but this is a state of emergency I guess

I used to be real uppity about this — when the wrong person says the right things, basically — and it was actually the uatx prof I’m friends with who changed my mind
