Feels like your position is channels work better when the community is more niche (90s Detroit house music vs. music)?

I will personally always pick communities. But I’d love for communities to be organized by topics aka better discovery.

Totally agree, something definitely needs to change. Right now, channels just don’t feel effective to me. Creators putting out thoughtful, high-quality content deserve way more views. Hopefully, AI moderation can help fix that

A classic tension in social platforms. Topics are the 'what' that brings people together initially, but communities are the 'who' and 'why' that make them stay. The magic happens when platforms can successfully bridge topic-based discovery into lasting community bonds.
