hello i was a neuro and psych major and researched neuroplasticity for 4 years during and after university creativity is largely just your ability to think divergently (instead of converging) any compound that encourages dendritic growth and synaptic formation (i.e. new neural connections to form) will increase the potential for divergent thinking psychedelics are by far one of the most potent and accessible proven methods of encouraging new connections to form, along with DBS and other more invasive ways of directly stimulating the brain. the stamet's stack (a microdose of psilocybin, lion's mane, and niacin) is a protocol i personally recommend. HOWEVER you must have diversity in experience and breadth of knowledge to think divergently so before you go popping a bunch of supplements, if you don't have a life that lends itself to new knowledge and experiences - start there

Omg I have so many questions for you.. Does something like Stamets stack permanently increase creativity or just while you're on them?

i think this is where people get the wrong expectations! it doesn't increase creativity, it increases neural plasticity - the capability of your brain to rewire this allows you to: β’ form new memories β’ make new connections β’ identify new patterns β’ change internal self beliefs (mental health benefits) etc etc through these new capabilities, you're more likely to be able to think divergently, which is being able to come up with multiple solutions to a problem or ideas for something that's now creativity :)
