if i were to run a scam, i'd like to target gym goers and make them pay to do heavy manual labor, like building someone's house

(i'm pretty sure many would move much better after lifting, carrying and placing bricks than they do now after a gazillion isolated exercises)

anyway, i get your point, but gym progress tracking is stuck in the 20th century (at best)

we should be (and mostly are) able to monitor muscle activation, heart rate, blood levels, etc. almost instantly and spam the trainee with progress dopamine hits every second

Sounds great in theory but gym goers often get addicted to programs and progress. 

It’s difficult do develop these programs (carrying and dropping will be the only activity). It’s also impossible to show strength progress since you can’t up the brick weight.

Im debating allowing people to mow my lawn for 50$ can use the blower after for an extra 10$.

it feels like in theory that would work, but im not sure if you could get most gym goers to do something like that (but then again, if you get the type of gym goers that are bros, who want to show off, i think you have a winner.
