this is such a cool experiment for multiple reasons:
1) degen comes from the circulating supply
2) it gets locked until the end of season
3) it's the rain maker who pays for engagement
4) drop receiver (need a better term) gets paid

let's see how it works, imo it's a step in a good direction - helps in separating engagement farming and tipping for quality content.

one thing that will have to be solved is some kind of bad actor monitoring - people that like replies, drive engagement and then remove the likes. otoh, this is possible with tipping too.

this can go sideways in so many ways, but i love that we're trying new things. farcaster is awesome.
