if the pivot to staking is successful, the culture around tipping will change a LOT and it will look like it's dying/ lost to louder tip coin shitters. Then winter will give way to spring and a new meta will prevail. [SEPT]

A forest gets stronger when the undergrowth is burned away to fuel further growth for those with staying power.    It's consolidating, growing, changing.  It may grow in great ways, it may grow in ways that put it outside of sunlight and things will pass.  eventually we'll take for granted the shade, air, and freedom the forest gives us.

I think liquidity is in a state of flux until btc and eth bust their ath nut, then it will most likely flow like the mighty Colorado river again with more airdrops and new tokens popping up on base than you could keep up with with 5 fiverr assistants. You'll need them though to maintain your phone farm racks.

just off the top of my head.   tipping tokens standarize their foundations with apis/ single-sources of truth for things that are easy to build dynamic frames, dashboards, tracking, usage by default.   Think "Tip Kit" sort of deal that just lets you roll your own safely and easily.  

 Then we look into standardized Actions or action/frames that then hit you with a direct cast for results vs spamming replies.    

Flow could be:   Find content/art you love.  Click the four-square icon, click tip, a frame pops up with your allowances and a number, type the number you want to use, next screen -- the amount,  confirm.   Then it sends it for you easily... you get a DC "Your tip was recieved". they get a DC "You just got XXX from @username!"    everyone just follows the tip-bot to get notifications.   

Then it's invisible to most users but very visible to those who want to play.

We just need a new way of doing it. The current way looks spammy to a newcomer.
I have a few "features" of how a tip should be, but I still cannot think of possible ways to implement them.

already two different systems working off likes. manual tipping on collect should also be reconsidered. 

I think the description of tip allocations as marketing budgets is very astute, so it does remain to be seen how growth-centric behavior is reinforced.
