Actually pretty insane how much people are sleeping on putting their content onchain. Music, videos, podcasts you name it. There's unparalleled upside to giving people the ability to collect or tip and there's literally no downside to earning crypto for minting the same content you mint everywhere else.

It took a while for me to figure it out but using Zora has been a great inspiration for pushing sudden art urges, poetry, press releases onchain.

Putting video on chain isn't hard. Use tape.xyz or zora for example. But the distribution is so limited compared to YT. I think someone needs to nail the web2 for distribution, with accompanying incentive to mint/own/collect onchain that brings value to the creator and consumer greater than the value of distribution.

I've been trying to figure out how to get video onchain. As a non-dev, this stuff is still pretty challenging. It's really hard not to just upload to YouTube or Vimeo, but I'm increasingly convinced that relying on someone else's platform is a bad long-term play.
