Memecoins were supposed to be fun - a lighthearted gateway into onchain culture. But somewhere along the way, they discouraged creators from pursuing thoughtful token projects.
There was a time when launching a token meant something. You mapped out the story, planned the utility, designed the tokenomics. It was your reputation on the line. The launch was art, strategy, and community all wrapped together.
Now? It's hundreds of tokens a day, launched and dumped in minutes - driven by speculation over substance. Even some creators, swept up in the frenzy, launched "their coin" and ended up watching it backfire. A few deleted posts later, it's like it never happened… but the damage is done.
Meanwhile, real innovators - the ones building with intention - are watching all this chaos thinking the same thing: How do we raise the bar again? How do we make launching a token feel meaningful, exciting, and worthwhile?
