I remember in the early 90's Timothy Leary & G. Gordon Liddy came to my campus to talk/ debate Near the end Leary spoke about how all of human experience was about to change, this was at the beginning of the web,but he was talking about interconnectedness on the lvl of smart devices,it sounded crazy then to be honest

idk I feel like we've reached the top of the s curves on a lot of obvious stuff change will continue, but even a move to ubiquitous VR/AR feels less jarring than comparing when I was a kid to today
